Te Mara Estate

Te Mara Estate is a family owned vineyard dedicated to producing elegant and appealing Pinot Noir and cool climate aromatic white wines from Central Otago, New Zealand.  The low fertility gravel based soils of the vineyard combined with the hot days and cool nights of Central Otago's summer followed by the cool autumn provide all the factors to create wines of superb quality.

Central Otago is a visually stunning region of New Zealand that offers all the best for which New Zealand has become renowned; a clean, clear, pure environment but with the added dimension of a truly continental climate.  It is the contentintal climate that makes Central Otago wines distinctive, from other regions in New Zealand, it allows the grapes to develop flavours while still retaining the acid levels essential for well structured wines.
